100 km of Viaduct completed on Mumbai-Ahmedabad high speed corridor

In a groundbreaking update, the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) recently announced a significant achievement in the construction of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project. As of November 21, the project has seen the completion of an impressive 103.24 km of elevated viaduct and 251.40 km of pier erection work. Bridging Rivers

The project has triumphed over geographical challenges by constructing viaducts and bridges over six rivers in Gujarat. From Par River in Valsad District to Venganiya River in Navsari District, each bridge stands as a testament to the seamless integration of technology and nature.


Piercing Noise Barriers

NHSRCL has prioritized passenger comfort by initiating the installation of noise barriers along the bullet train route. These barriers, inspired by Shinkansen Technology, are 2 meters high and 1 meter wide concrete panels strategically placed to reflect and distribute the sound generated by the high-speed train, ensuring a quieter travel experience.


Innovative Tracks

Surat witnesses a historic first with the introduction of a Reinforced Concrete (RC) track bed, utilizing the J-slab ballastless track system for the first time in India.
